Where are you going, Ernesto?

Well, another school year has begun! We have a lot of new faces at CCS, and there are faces that are now gone from among us. New rooms, new students, new teachers, new textbooks, new procedures, new lunch area coverings, etc...so much change! But we know that all things work together for the good of those who hearts belong completely to God, so we do not fear the changes, but embrace them within the framework of God's eternal vision. I hope and pray that we all have a wonderful, fruitful year!

In response to the North Korean threat to test a new long-range missile that could potentially hit Los Angeles or Chicago, the United States has finally initiated its new missile defense shield! Though some parts are still in the testing stages, numerous recent successes have brought about the incredible possibility that American can defend itself against the threat of missile attacks from foreign despots and maniacs like Kim Jong Il of North Korea. Thank you Ronald Reagan for beginning the Strategic Defense Initiative (nicknamed "Star Wars" by the press in the 80s). S.D.I. is now being implemented!

Well, it's been a while since my last posting on here, and it's time to move forward. According to the A.P., the English Language has reached 1 Billion Words! With the inclusion of such new words as "podcast" and "celebutane," the Oxford English Dictionary has officially reached 1 Billion Words! And to think, most of us have a vocabulary of only 5,000-6,000 words...hmmmm.

Antidisestablishmentarianism is pretty long, but

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is much longer!

Now THAT'S a mouthful!
